Murmur by Shibui Knits

This latest yarn from Shibui, introduced for the fall/winter 22/23 season, is lovely to knit with.

I knit the hat shown in the right sidebar using a US 10.5 and it was a joy to knit - uber soft and silky in the hands. My gauge was 3.5 sts/inch. The band says 13 sts/4 in.

This yarn is a 70% alpaca/30% merino blend.....but you would guess it was cashmere from the feel of it!

Featuring 65 yards per skein, one skein will knit a special pair of booties for the new grandchild in the family.

I used 1.5 sks for the hat - so buy 3 sks and you can knit a hat for yourself and another for a best friend or family member!
