This gorgeous 80% extrafine merino (19 micron or less!) and 20% cashmere yarn by Shibui is recommended knit at 5.25 - 5.5 sts/inch on a US 6.
Each skein features 160 yards. There is still a blue backordered, but here are the first 5 to start with!

I knit up the headband shown in the right sidebar using 1/2 a skein. So I can either knit a second headband (this is the medium size of the Ravelry pattern Strickvetter) or pick up stitches around one edge and knit a crown to turn it into a hat!
I LOVED knitting this yarn. It is so soft and scrumptious and it has a lot of elasticity, which makes it really nice for a hat, headband, wristlets, etc.
