The label recommends it at 19 sts/4 inches - so 4.75 sts/inch which is in the worsted weight range. And I believe that for a shawl, but if you're thinking about a garment that you want a tighter fabric on (sweater, hat, mittens, etc), I would think you'd like to knit it at more of a 5.5 or 6 st/inch gauge.
