Not all the colors have arrived yet (9/27/22), but I'm excited about this yarn.
It feels SOOOO nice and fills a void I've had here at the shop!
For those of you looking for a bulky gauge (3-3.5 st/inch) that IS NOT superwash (see Cascade 128 for that), not dense (see Lamb's Pride Bulky for that) or the price of a more luxurious fiber blend (check out Juniper Moon's lovely Beatrix for that!), this new 100% wool yarn by Plymouth is just right.
It is a line extension of the popular Homestead worsted - same great price point and I think it feels even better than the worsted? Can't imagine why, but it has an exceptional hand.
123 yards per skein and recommended knit at 3-3.5 on a US 9-10.5.
