This relatively new line of yarns by designer Jody Long is gaining popularity for the quality of fibers, yarns and pattern support.
This d.k. weight (knits at 5.5 sts/inch on US 6) is 100% merino I brought in to replace the popular Debbie Bliss Rialto I had for years. Each skein has 115 yds.
The twist yields good stitch definition; the fiber has nice elasticity/resiliency, and the yarn is very soft. And it is machine washable, so great for kids knitting.
Lots of pattern support for this for kids sweaters, hats, baby blankets, etc. A great option if you want an all natural yarn that is a bit heavier than the popular Ella Rae Baby Cashmerino.
More colors arriving shortly (I hope!). The models shown in the right sidebar are all patterns from a kids/baby pattern book that features all designs for this yarn. It includes several cute sweaters, several baby blankets, several hats, a teddy bear, etc.
$9.99/ball
