This lovely 100% baby alpaca knits at 3 sts/in on US 10-10.5 needle. This fall several gorgeous variegated colors have been added to the line of solids. The earflap hat shown below takes just 1 skein to knit and the pattern is free with the yarn purchase. Be sure to check out the newest handpainted version of this yarn too! Depending on which color you choose, you may be getting either Cascade's Baby Alpaca or Plymouth's Alpaca Grande. Both yarns are 100% baby alpaca and knit at the same gauge. Technically, Cascade's version has 108 yds and Plymouth's has 110 yds/sk. Price/sk: $14.00 for the solids and $16.00/sk for the variegateds.
