Louet Based on our experience in classes here, these wheels are the easiest for a rank beginner to get going on. Their simplicity in design and the forgiving treadling action make it easy for beginners to keep the wheel moving forward. Yet its not just a wheel for beginners. Many experienced spinners have enjoyed their Louets for years. Various models to choose from depending on your taste and pocketbook. All but the 2 newest models(the Victoria and Julia) have ratios of 5.5, 7.5, & 10.5 to 1, come with a built in lazy kate & 3 bobbins which hold up to 8 ozs. each, are single belt bobbin drive wheels with an adjustable leather flyer brake to regulate the tension..All have nice large orifices for bulky and novelty yarns. The differences between them derive from the nature of the wood and style of the spokes, if there are any. Call for current prices: 802-288-8081 Julia: NEW!!!
