wheel with a decent range of ratios. Double Treadle Requires
minimal assembly. Traditional Wheel (shown below): Comes with separate lazy kate & four bobbins, each of which holds between 3-4 ozs of spun yarn. Offers ratios of 6.5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 14, and 17.5:1. Weighs 17.5 lbs. Can be set up & interchanged easily for either scotch tension or as double drive, depending upon which ratios you desire. A favorite among those desiring the traditional "fairy tale" style wheel or wanting to spin finer weight yarn, since the higher ratios of this model are well suited to finer spinning. Single Treadle Requires complete assembly.
