This is a tricky pattern to follow even tho' it looks straightforward. I found the stitch in an old stitch book...maybe a Barbara Walker? I've seen it called by other names and I don't even recall if this is the name the stitch source used as its been so long!



Cast on 28 sts.

  2. p2, *k1 (yo k2tog) twice, p1, k5, p2*
  3. k2 *p4, k2, p5, k2*
  4. p2 *k1, (yo, k2tog) twice, p2, k4, p2*
